Our vision as the HR and OD team is to enable, empower and support the workforce to deliver an efficient and effective customer-focused service to the Wokingham Borough Community. This role is critical in the delivery of that vision as it will not only provide the partnering interface between HR and 2 of our Divisions, it will also manage our HR Specialists in the HR Policy & Practice team.
You will be able to quickly establish credibility with a highly skilled and motivated team, working with peers and stakeholders alike to form relationships that enable us to deliver on our vision and priorities. It is essential that you have a Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management, or equivalent, and ideally you will also be a member or fellow of the CIPD.
This is a highly rewarding and hands on role with no 2 days being the same. We are looking for someone who is flexible in their approach and able to digest complex HR issues at speed providing pragmatic and creative solutions. You must be ambitious for the community we serve and demonstrate a drive and commitment to continuously improve our customer experience.
