Salary: Grade 3 £18,933 to £19,184 per annum

Hours: 37 per week

Contract Type: Fixed term for 6 months

 

The Isle of Wight Council’s Revenues and Benefits Service section is currently recruiting a temporary position for a period of 6 months. This offers the opportunity to work in a high performing frontline service dealing with the billing, collection and recovery of all revenue owed to the Council.

 

The post will undertake clerical duties relating to the billing and collection of Council Tax and administration of Benefits. Experience of dealing with customers and a pleasant professional telephone manner is required.

 

After training, the successful candidate will be required to accurately record and process information including answering customer enquiries on the telephone.
