Senior Cremation Technician
Full time- 37 Hours
Salary: £23,579 per annum
Are you a team player? Do you have a kind and sympathetic nature? We have a very unique role, and an opportunity to appoint a Senior Cremation Technician at the Kent & Sussex Crematorium which is owned and operated by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
The Council currently provides services and facilities for some 2,100 cremation services each year as well as 50 burials, and we are looking for someone to be a part of our dedicated and caring team, providing the highest level of customer service and technical ability, to bereaved families, visitors and stakeholders.
You will already have at least 1 year’s cremation experience and hold the ICCM Crematorium Technicians Training Scheme certificate.
Overseeing a small team of 5 Cremation Technicians you will ensure the smooth running of the day to day operation, in line with the attached Job Description.
This is a role that enables the holder to demonstrate their leadership skills, managing the resources available to them, and to provide a first class and professional service.
Previous experience in a supervisory role would be advantageous as there will be a requirement to conduct one to one and appraisal meetings at regular intervals.
Working hours cover a shift pattern of Monday to Friday 08:30 to 19:00 with additional hours dictated by the needs of the service.
