Salary £24,491 to £27,041 per annum pro rata

We are looking to appoint a part time Temporary Accommodation Support Officer to manage council-owned Hostels in Benfleet & Canvey Island and support other applicants in temporary accommodation. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as part of a small team.

You will be responsible for managing arrivals and departures, monitoring the wellbeing of residents, and ensuring they comply with the terms of their licences. Duties also include reporting repairs, assisting residents to progress Homelessness applications, and undertaking pre and post Void inspections.

The ideal candidate will be a good communicator and be able to demonstrate the required attributes to be able to provide housing related support to vulnerable people and families with complex needs.

The successful candidate will work 18.5 hours a week on-site, working pattern to be agreed.
