About the role

FSN is recruiting for a NURSERY MANAGER (1 year Maternity cover) at St Nicks Nursery, St. Leonards on Sea

Salary from £24,491 per annum depending on qualifications/experience

37 hours p/w, all year round

Successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

FSN are looking for an experienced, passionate manager to provide maternity cover. This is a great opportunity for a strong, dynamic candidate to expand on managerial experience in our full time, purpose built nursery in central St Leonards.

The role includes planning and delivering effective daily management of the nursery, in accordance with company policy, relevant legislation, local authority and OFSTED requirements. Leading a team of qualified practitioners to ensure the quality of care and education is of the highest quality.

Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children within the nursery and implement effective partnership working with parents/carers and external agencies to promote the best outcomes for all children.

Applicants will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or above, as well as 2 years proven leadership skills, experience of managing or deputising in a nursery setting and have excellent knowledge of EYFS & Ofsted requirements.
