18 – 20 £6.45 per hour £12,443 per annum
21 plus £8.20 per hour £15,820 per annum
This is a unique opportunity to learn about a range of different professions with access to superb training and coaching. Working for Rugby Borough Council, you will be able to make a real difference by providing services to the people in our communities, at a time when we are facing exciting challenges. You will join a group of apprentices providing customer service and administrative support across different teams whilst gaining Level 2 in Customer Services. There is also an opportunity to be placed in Housing to gain Level 3 (subject to having experience at Level 2). We are looking for people who are enthusiastic to learn, have a ‘can do’ approach to solving problems for our customers, and who are team players with the ability to organise and prioritise their work.
You need to be quite physically able as there is lots of standing, bending and walking, especially during the first few weeks when you will be involved in activities such as sorting and delivering the post whilst becoming familiar with all services delivered by the Council. You may also be using machinery in order to undertake tasks like printing and scanning.
