£25,991 - £29,577 per annum – Pro rata

Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School is currently rated as Good by OFSTED (January 2019).
Due to the retirement of our current outstanding School Business Manager we are looking for an experienced individual to join our supportive and inclusive community. You will have proven experience of working within a school, a business environment, or equivalent setting. You will have the ability to manage the provision of key support areas of the school to support teaching and learning including:-
- Management of the school admissions process
- Financial and human resources management
- Resources and facilities management
- Data management
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with all visitors to the school in a professional manner and make them feel welcome and comfortable.
You will be expected to support the Headteacher and Governors in maintaining the high standards of financial and business that currently exist. You will also manage administrative and site management staff. The hours will be 8 a.m. – 3.45 p.m. with a 45 minute unpaid lunch break.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and the appointment will be subject to references. The post will begin on 7st December 2020; and the post holder will undertake a 6 month probationary period, up to 30th June 2021.
