About the role
Horam Community Preschool is set in the heart of a growing village, and has been established since 1977. We provide a nurturing, friendly, safe & fun environment where children learn to interact with other children and adults, paving the way for their move to primary school.
Horam Community Preschool Management Committee are currently recruiting for a part time deputy manager, starting in November, for our long established successful preschool. The right candidate must hold a level 3 childcare qualification, and have at least 2 years current experience in an early years setting.
You will need sound a knowledge of the EYFS and relevant statutory/regulatory requirements and the ability to fully implement these as well as the ability to implement a pre-school curriculum with a real understanding of child development and children’s needs.

The role is term time only (38 weeks per year) between the hours of 9am and 4pm, working approximately 24 ½ hours per week, although there will be some requirement for meetings and other events outside of these hours. Salary £8.90 to £9.40 per hour based on experience.
