Your New Role
As the Analyst, you will be part of the Regeneration Directorate and you will support the SEHRT Programme Tranche 2 and the Air Quality (AQ) Programme in delivery of the monitoring and evaluation plans and benefits realization. Moreover, there will be the requirement to support the programme management functions by collating, analyzing and presenting information to inform the delivery.
You will manage processes for programme management and evaluation, reporting and governance, as well as be the subject expert on the link between the benefits of the programmes and their monitoring and evaluation plans. You will assist with the set up of clear processes that enable decision making by the Managers, and you will update mechanisms that allow for critical issues to be highlighted, thus allowing for effective programme management. You will assess for data quality issues and set clear processes that address them, as well as develop/update key programme information within the GIS platform.
What you’ll need to succeed
For this post you will need to be educated to relevant degree level or have demonstrable equivalent professional experience. You should have experience of utilizing and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data sources, as well as well-developed skills for coordination and liaising with relevant parties. You should have experience of developing monitoring and evaluation tools. You will be able to communicate messages clearly, concisely and at a level appropriate to the audience, who may not be specialists in data analytics or projects. You will need to have the ability to represent the service at meetings with integrity and confidence and demonstrate high levels of verbal communication and reasoning. You will also need excellent writing skills and be able to work independently and proactively. General IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications is essential and understanding of Geographic Information Systems is desirable.
