About the Post:
Barnsley Safeguarding Adults Board and Adult Social Care Quality Assurance and Service Improvement Team are looking to recruit a multi-agency Safeguarding Adults Trainer. The post holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of adult safeguarding training locally and contribute to regional safeguarding events. Locally the post will work with commissioned care providers to support high quality safeguarding and mental capacity act training and practice..
The successful applicant will possess
- Experience and knowledge of adult safeguarding, including self neglect sand hoarding.
- Experience of implementing and delivering multi agency/single agency training programmes
- Significant understanding of professional roles and responsibilities within a safeguarding context
This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week.
