The successful candidate will be required to be available outside of services normal working hours as part of a standby rota to respond to out of hours service needs. A standardised standby payment will be made in respect of these duties.

About the Post:
Barnsley Council Fleet Services have an exciting Senior Technician opportunity based in our busy workshop at the Smithies Lane Depot. We are looking for an experienced Senior Technician to deliver complex maintenance solutions across a diverse fleet. We are particularly interested in Senior Technicians who have experience of using digital Fleet Maintenance Systems and new greener fuel systems.
You must deliver and promote the highest standards of Health & Safety and legal compliance along with effectively and efficiently managing your assigned budget.
