We are looking for a Clerical Assistant to join the Scanning/Mailroom Team whilst the current post-holder is seconded to another role within the council. Applicants should have an enthusiastic approach and be able to work accurately in a busy, customer focused and pressured environment. Good ICT skills are essential together with the ability to maintain accurate records, work effectively as a member of a team and be able to communicate with a wide range of people.
Duties will include scanning and indexing documentation from various sources into a number of document management systems, and to prepare files and documentation ready for scanning. Assisting with mail collection and distribution and other general clerical duties
Applicants should have an all round general standard of education, but have an especially good standard of English with general Mathematic abilities. Knowledge of Idox and iclipse document management systems would be an advantage.
