About the role
East Sussex U19's Substance Misuse Service are looking to recruit a Social Worker who can demonstrate a high level of professional practice and a good understanding of the issues related to Young People who misuse substances and the safeguarding issues that may arise through the use of drugs/alcohol .
The role is within a specialist multi-disciplinary team providing an assessment and casework function with young people and their families across East Sussex.
You will be self motivated, organised, able to engage with complex young people and deliver a broad range of trauma informed psychosocial interventions to reduce the harms caused by substance misuse.
