Rowan Park Teaching School is an outstanding Special School, which supports the learning and development of children and young people aged 3 -19 years. The school has three sites; Rowan Park School for pupils aged 3-19 years with severe and complex learning difficulties, Rowan High School for pupils aged 11-19 years with a diagnosis of Autism and The Rowan Tree for Reception and Year 1 pupils’ who have a diagnosis of autism and learning difficulties.
Rowan High School opened in September 2015 and, as the School continues to grow and develop, the Governors wish to appoint a part-time Teacher to work 4 days (Tuesday to Friday) to cover none core subject areas. We are looking for a Teacher who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about improving outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will be skilled in delivering Key Stage 3 none core subjects including Sport, Forest School, Food Technology and Design Technology, demonstrating commitment and be a highly effective classroom practitioner.
