Job Title: Support Worker
Location: St Albans
Salary Range: £19,312 pa progressing to £20,903 pa (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 18.5 per week
Contract: Fixed Term/Secondment opportunity until Sep,2021
The Adoption Service in Hertfordshire has recently undergone a transformation programme. The Adoption Service is made up of 5 county wide teams which each play their part in facilitating and supporting the most vulnerable children in society to achieve the stability and security of an adoptive family that they need.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Admin Support Officer within our Adoption Team West This role provides administrative support to a Social Worker in the Adoption Team.
We are looking for an organised, self-motivated and professional individual who is able to provide a high level of administrative support. In addition, you will be
supporting the Social Worker who has a disability with practical assistance such as with her wheelchair, her personal care needs and in attending home visits, meetings and Court hearings. You must be able to work flexibly and work some evenings and weekends.
You will be working in a rewarding and fast paced environment. You will be used to working to tight deadlines and with high accuracy. Experience in taking minutes to a high standard is also essential.
