This is an opportunity to work on a low carbon project that aims to reduce carbon emissions and support clean growth across the region.

The Project Support Officer role will provide administrative support for complex projects based in the Innovation & Sector Development Team, part of the Business & Skills Directorate.  This includes the day-to-day administration and project co-ordination of the Low Carbon Challenge Fund (LCCF).  This £4.2m project, funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), provides grants to small & medium enterprises for energy efficiency, supports local renewable energy schemes and is due to launch an innovative housing retrofit pilot project.

In addition to project experience, the post-holder will have strong communication skills, engaging with multiple and varied stakeholders to build effective working relationships with partners in the region, central government and beyond.
