Rowan Park Teaching School is an outstanding Special School, which supports the learning and development of children and young people aged 3 -19 years. The school has three sites; Rowan Park School for pupils aged 3-19 years with severe and complex learning difficulties, Rowan High School for pupils aged 11-19 years with a diagnosis of Autism and The Rowan Tree for Reception and Year 1 pupils’ who have a diagnosis of autism and learning difficulties.
The Governors wish to appoint a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to provide general clerical, administrative and financial support to Rowan High School.
Duties will include dealing with the collection, recording and balancing of all monies received by the school, i.e. dinner monies, petty cash, School trip monies and School fund.
You will be very organised and motivated, with strong time management skills, being able to work productively whilst prioritising tasks effectively.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with all visitors to the school in a professional manner and make them feel welcomed and comfortable.
Experience of SIMS is desirable, although training will be provided to the most suitable candidate.
Work pattern is Monday – 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Tuesday – 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., Wednesday - 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and Thursday/Friday - 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. (30 minute unpaid lunch) (total 36 hours per week)
