The Business Change Manager leads the Performance & Improvement team that provides business improvement and business support functions to all teams within Housing. 

Fixed term until 31 August 2021 to cover maternity leave

About the role

We are excited to offer an opportunity to step into an exciting role in Housing that has three main areas of focus – service improvement, change management and IT development.

As well as team management, the post holder is responsible for business functions  across all Housing teams.  These include:

  • Optimising operational performance through service reviews, managing change and embedding improvement.
  • Leading on research, benchmarking, business planning, performance reporting, policy analysis, data security, customer profiling and good practice development.
  • Supporting Heads of Service to achieve local and council-wide organisation development objectives (including employee engagement, equalities, performance management, communications, and learning & development) that facilitate the delivery of impactful, customer focussed services.
  • Directing a programme of ICT development projects designed to modernise our service, modernise the way we work, provide efficiencies, and ultimately lead to improved customer and staff experiences

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
