About the role

Monday and Tuesday 12:00 – 13:00

£9.25 per hour

We are a popular successful village primary school and we have a vacancy for Midday Supervisor to be part of our friendly and supportive team from September.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of working with children or aspires to work with children.

A visit to the school is recommended before applying for this post.

Working Monday and Tuesday lunchtimes (12-1pm) supporting the catering team and other MDSAs to supervise children in the playground and lunch hall, encouraging children to participate in lunchtime games and activities.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Engages well with children and can provide positive mentoring
  • Has good behaviour management and supervision skills
  • Is flexible and available to cover if required
  • To provide first aid when required
  • Ability to empathise with the needs of children
