Homeless Assessment Advisor (P1548)
18 Month Fixed Term Contract
Inclusive Salary range from £29,298 up to £32,860 per year
Plus essential car user allowance + up to 18.5% employer pension contribution
We are looking for a Homeless Assessment Advisor to join our team which has a lead role in preventing/relieving homelessness, and will work in partnership with our Housing Options Advisors to resolve applicants housing crisis. Part of the role will include undertaking detailed investigations as a result of interviews, and being ultimately responsible for making decisions on housing applications, or routes into alternative housing using various housing options.
You must be educated to NVQ Level 4 or with an equivalent level qualification in relevant subject. Previous experience of delivering housing advice is critical for this post. Experience in writing Section 184 decisions is desirable.
You will also have a high standard of written work, excellent communication skills and a high level of customer focus. In this role you will be managing an individual caseload and need to have the ability to use a range of IT systems to increase your efficiency.
