An opportunity has arisen for an outcome focused Mental Health Worker to join West Berkshire Emotional Health Academy (EHA). The EHA is West Berkshire’s innovative early help service for children and young people with emerging emotional and mental health difficulties. The service is well-established and hosts a successful multi-agency triage for children and young people experiencing mental heath difficulties.
The post holder will predominantly be based at ‘icollege alternative education’, West Berkshire’s provision for learners unable to access mainstream education. The desired applicant will deliver evidenced based low intensity interventions to children and young people in accordance with NICE guidelines and also have experience using parent and family centered approaches.
This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
