We are currently looking for Autism Specialist Teaching Assistants to work on a fixed term contract (funding limited project) for 12 months from January 2021.
This is a new and exciting opportunity to join the Autism Team to support positive outcomes for pupils with Autism and to support their families.
This new role has been created to enhance the work of the Autism Team, working collaboratively with colleagues in the Autism Team, and it is expected that the Specialist Teaching Assistants will be able to work directly with pupils, staff and families on specific short term interventions and support.
You will need to have knowledge of Autism and have experience of working successfully with pupils with Autism and their families.
This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
