About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a disciplined and experienced business analyst to support East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (ESFRS) Programme Management Office (PMO) and strategic project delivery.

Working full-time within our PMO, the Business Analyst will capture business requirements, outline solutions and propose ways forward to support the PMO set up and the delivery of individual projects. Documentation of ‘as is’, gap analysis, training needs analysis, and supporting the development of new processes and procedures are key. The role will perform business and data analysis to inform decisions while being the main conduit between the PMO and the Service. The role will involve providing training and support around project management, planning, delivery and analysing project requirements.

To fulfil this key role you must have strong business analysis experience. This should include outlining detailed processes using Visio, swim lanes and data dictionaries of ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes for sign off. Your experience should also include development of processes and business solutions to support effective operation and business change, as well as requirement analysis and data analysis. Experience of working as part of a business change project team and public sector experience is also desirable.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Maya Polak on 07914 854160 or via email maya.polak@esfrs.org
