situation with Coronavirus in the UK. The primary function of the service, is to work
collaboratively with customers, partners and other stakeholders to;
• mitigate the impact on wellbeing of essential measures such as social distancing and quarantining of vulnerable adults
• reduce the likelihood of outbreaks of COVID-19 in services and
• to coordinate the outbreak control plan where outbreaks do occur in services
We recognise that we will need to continue to provide this additional support for some
months to come and are therefore now seeking a Support Officer’s to join us for a period of 12 months.
Do you have a passion for supporting the delivery of effective services to adults with care and support needs?
Do you consider yourself to have great communication skills and the ability to digest lots of information and identify and respond to risk in a fast paced and constantly changing environment ?
You will be responsible for a portfolio of logistical support to the Task force, consisting of ; Co-ordination and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Support to utilise the National Capacity Tracker, managing communications and guidance issued by central government, support to managing Whole Homes Testing and the wider provision within the Borough, and administration of the logistical support provided. The role will involve the development of effective relationships within the council and external partners (CCG, NHS) supporting the Task Force Commissioning Officer to ensure all logical activity to support adult social care provision within the Borough is achieved.
