Emergency Call Operator (MDC8311)
£14,614 – £14,906 per annum
Average 28hrs per week - 2 alternating shift patterns (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
Individual required to work in the Emergency Call Centre – Dealing with Emergency calls across the district from ASSIST Sheltered housing and the ASSIST Lifeline service/ Telecare clients .To deal with and action all out of hours enquiries for Mansfield District Council requesting appropriate services for the emergency and giving advice
Minimum of 3 GCSE’S grade A* - C, to demonstrate good literacy skills OR Previous experience within a supporting people environment.
This post requires the successful candidate to work outside normal office hours and the post holder must be able to prioritise and use their own initiative whilst working with minimum supervision.
