We are looking for a communications and engagement professional to work alongside our Director of Public Health and Marketing and Communications Manager to develop strategic communication and engagement activities to support the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The work will include designing, developing and delivering effective communications and engagement opportunities to prevent infection spread, support an effective response to clusters or outbreaks, and broader opportunities to improve health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities in North Somerset.
The postholder will:
- have significant post qualification experience to develop and deliver communication and engagement plans and activities
- provide specialist communication and engagement advice and guidance to the Public Health service area
- have an understanding of the current pandemic and opportunities to work proactively with local communities to minimise its impact and improve health and wellbeing.
The post is available on a fixed-term contract until September 2022.
