Elective Home Education (EHE) Support and Advice Officer
Are you an experienced child-centred practitioner with recent knowledge of school systems and a willingness to learn about the variety of methods of delivering home education in order to support families to succeed?
Due to the expansion of the elective home education team ISEND are seeking the following practitioners:
- 1 x Eastbourne, Lewes and Havens
- 2 x Hastings, Rother and Wealden

ISEND EHE team are looking for three Elective Home Education Support and Advice Officers to develop their service to families. The role involves assessing the suitability of the packages of education, and providing advice and signposting to families who have chosen to electively home educate their children.
The role will involve home visits, telephone and email contact, monthly drop-ins and report writing. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with parents. You will be a strong team player with a proven track record of multi-agency working. A driving licence and access to a car is essential.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
