An exciting opportunity has been created within Lincolnshire County Councils Facilities Management team for a Compliance Officer. Lincolnshire County Councils Facilities Management team is responsible for the management, maintenance and compliance of over 600 buildings around Lincolnshire.
The role will involve the monitoring and management of all statutory and essential property health, safety and maintenance compliance; as well as any other statutory requirements. This will require working closely with LCC's facilities management main contractor and monitoring of the relevant areas of the contract.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and fast-learning individual, with excellent interpersonal skills, ideally candidates will also have property management experience along with a thorough knowledge of statutory property compliance issues and experience in managing contractors and statutory compliance. The successful candidate will also be able to work across a range of different work streams, displaying the necessary professionalism and confidence to work alongside and advise Senior Managers and Members.
The post holder will provide reports and monitoring data to the head of Facilities Management and will ensure that any new or existing changes to legislation are highlighted to LCC and recommendations made on any changes required to ensure that LCC buildings remain compliant and safe.
