Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting opportunity for a Place & Investment Principal Officer to lead change within the Growth Area of the Place Directorate.
As the Place and Investment Principal Officer you will be accountable for developing and delivering a strategy for Investment, primarily working with investors, developers, influencers and foreign direct owned businesses to champion Lincolnshire as a place to live, work and invest.
This will include shaping the economic future of the region, encouraging businesses to flourish and creating a sustainable, attractive and healthy economy.
You will also manage and deliver a portfolio of provision aimed at meeting the needs of both existing and future investors and supporting the growth of the Lincolnshire economy in line with the strategic priorities of the County Council and the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (GLLEP).

You will provide day to day leadership, advice and guidance to the Place and Investment Team (currently 3 members). The team is a recent amalgamation of the tourism development and investment teams under the Tourism Development Manager Mary Powell and reflects the importance of 'Place' in our work.
You will particularly take lead responsibility for the co- ordination, development and management of strategic business relationships and initiatives which support the growth ambition of businesses in Lincolnshire through the Team Lincolnshire ambassadorial programme.
It is essential that applicants are able to travel around the county as the role requires.
