If so, then Lincolnshire County Council has the role for you!  We are currently recruiting to the exciting and challenging position of; Enterprise Growth Manager.

As the Enterprise Growth Manager you will be accountable for developing and delivering a strategy for economic growth across the county. Primarily you be securing external funds, commissioning and managing a range of high quality external business support programmes being delivered by a network of business support providers and directly managed business advisers.  

You will be responsible for managing the highly acclaimed Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub and developing a portfolio of provision which will be aimed at meeting the needs of both businesses and supporting the growth of the Lincolnshire economy.  All in line with the strategic priorities of the County Council and the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (GLLEP)

You will be instrumental in shaping an ambition for Lincolnshire's future. Outlining the business support and growth opportunities for the county and being future focused and responsive to the challenges of increasing productivity and sustainable growth.

Creativity, innovation, collaboration and political awareness will be central to achieving success.

You will provide day to day leadership, advice and guidance to the Enterprise Growth Team (currently 5.5 members). Reporting into the Head of Economic Growth you will take lead responsibility for the co- ordination, development and management of strategic business relationships and initiatives which support the growth of businesses across the county.

You will need the passion to drive productivity and business growth through structured business support interventions, being the visible figurehead for the Team and championing business growth opportunities for Greater Lincolnshire.

Excellent networking skills and diplomacy will be required along with the ability to see projects through to their completion.

You'll suitable experience in the management of economic development at a senior level and be able to display the successful outcomes you've achieved. Experience in shaping business support products to increase productivity and drive economic growth is essential.

The Enterprise Team is a fast paced, dynamic and friendly team within the Place directorate. The role of the team is exciting and varied but is focussed on developing and delivering a range of business support services, addressing the needs of Lincolnshire's businesses by engaging with partners and undertaking commissioning activities that aim to deliver economic growth and jobs.

We deliver our support by working with and influencing a wide range of partner organisations including other LCC teams, district councils, HE/FE providers and the private sector.  We undertake activities via our website: www.businesslincolnshire.com and through contracts that we commission with 3rd party suppliers who specialise in business support activities.

It is essential that applicants are able to travel around the county as the role requires.
