Surrey County Council is undergoing a radical transformation programme across all directorates, led by elected Members. In order to support the transformation and challenges that the council faces, the Leadership Office is looking for a Cabinet Support Officer to effectively manage, organise and prioritise the Cabinet Team’s work programme.
At its heart, the County Council is a democratically-led organisation. The Leadership Office provides support to the political and corporate leadership of the Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced and political environment. We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual with strong inter-personal skills. You will be responsible for: managing Cabinet Member diaries; managing correspondence with a range of stakeholders, including MPs and residents; planning events; and supporting specific projects for key political priorities.

- Experience of supporting projects
- Experience of high level diary management and administration
- Excellent written communication skills
- High level presentation skills
- Ability to prioritise and proactively manage work programmes
