The Youth Support Worker contribute towards the delivery and development of a Detached Youth Work Team.
There are 3 posts available in the Detached Youth Work Team, 2 x 6 hours per week and 1 x 3 hours per week.
The Detached Youth Work Team provide youth support in the delivery of a locality based targeted youth work provision including targeted anti-social behaviour Hot Spots, 1-1 support work, and project work.
The Youth Support Worker under the direction of the Team Leader will ensure that the Youth Work programme is targeted to those young people who are vulnerable and at risk, and provides an exciting outcome based programme which meets the needs of young people. The post holder will take an active role in Wirral Councils Early Help and Prevention offer, including receiving, prioritising and completing work allocated through the Team Leader and wider Youth Matters service's.
