Team Manager (Corporate Parenting Team 3)
Due to the appointment of the current team manager to an external post, we are looking to appoint a Team Manager in the Corporate Parenting Service.

As the Team Manager, you will have overall responsibility for a team of 6 FTE social workers and a full-time family support worker. You will expect to carry out supervision, development of staff and performance management. We will appoint somebody with a sound knowledge base of the challenges facing our most vulnerable group of children and young people. You will be a dedicated and enthusiastic manager who will ensure that our young people get the very best service, tailoring support packages to meet individual need and working in partnership with all relevant agencies.
You will be joining 3 other team managers who provide support and challenge, and will be supervised by the Service Manager.
You must be a registered social worker with SWE, and have substantial experience within Children’s Social Care at team management, Lead Practitioner or in a supervisory capacity. You will be a confident leader and able to work to high standards.
