Job Title: Project Manager-Hertfordshire Music Service
Salary Range: £34788 -£ 42,683 pa
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term 12-month contract
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Project Manager to join the Hertfordshire Music Service (HMS) team on a fixed- term 12-month contract. This new, exciting role will play a key role in the ongoing service transformation programme through leading on the launch of an ‘off the shelf’ system to schedule music tuition and drive payroll and invoicing. The post holder will be required to successfully engage a range of internal and external stakeholders to map existing processes, redesign them and then develop new policies, processes and training to support the successful implementation of the new system, drive efficiencies and improve the customer and staff journey.
The role will report to the Operations Director and will be responsible for managing a cross-departmental project team of subject matter experts.
Experience of working in a complex multi-layed public sector organisation would be extremely beneficial, as the post holder will be required to work in partnership with relevant central Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) teams.
HMS is one of the largest and most successful music services in the Country, with a national reputation for excellence, opportunity and delivering common good activities. With over 560 instrumental and vocal teachers teaching over 25,000 children in schools and our music centres across the county, HMS has a complex staffing structure and a wide reach, with a presence in most major Hertfordshire towns.
In filling this exciting opportunity, we are looking for a Project Manager who is; well organised, able to prioritise, proactive and a confident network builder who can work collaboratively across teams, departments and sites.
