Apprentice Project Manager
This is an exciting new role and you will be project managing a new communal bins collection service. Working with the cleansing manager you will be required to deliver an efficient and effective implementation of a new service throughout the borough of Sefton.
You will be required to work closely with support staff within the department, external agents and be a direct point of contact for members of the public. Using the systems provided you would be expected to monitor and report on activities of external and internal staff, container delivery, complaints and contractor performance.
You would also be expected to actively promote the introduction of the new service, respond to complaints, respond and action requests, undertake inspections and assessments all related to the work of the service whilst remaining customer focussed. Deal with problems or queries in order to obtain best value and meet operational needs.
Whilst undertaking this role you would also be working towards a Level 4 Project Manager Apprenticeship, therefore would be expected to complete all aspects of this apprenticeship, time off the job will be given to complete your qualification.

This post will be based at Hawthorne Road Depot, Hawthorne Road, Bootle.
