Runnymede’s Private Sector Housing Team regulates standards in privately rented homes and ensures they are safe for occupation, particularly in shared homes known as Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO).
Due to a significant increase in applications we are recruiting a new post for someone to process and administer the council’s HMO Licensing scheme.
This role would suit someone with a background in the private rented sector; however no prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with some experience of dealing with customers in a public sector organisation. You will be confident working with figures, have strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills, the ability to use a variety of IT tools and systems and the ability to analyse the data.
You will need the ability to work collaboratively, flexibly and on your own initiative, as well as accurately and with attention to detail.
