What’s the job?
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work in a team dedicated to dealing with elements of environmental health work. Working as an Environmental Health Support Officer, you will support the team by undertaking Environmental Health duties including (but not limited to) food safety, health and safety, environmental protection and public health. The role will offer the chance to work across a full range of Environmental Health disciplines.
Who are we looking for?
You will be enthusiastic and have the ability to work within a small, progressive but busy team, whilst also needing to be able to work independently when researching subjects or collating information and interpreting results.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a broad technical background across a range of Environmental Health disciplines to meet the demands of the post and have theoretical knowledge of Environmental Health enforcement and public health interventions with regard to the principles of risk assessment.
