More about the role:

We have an exciting opportunity within our Transformation and Resources team on a fixed term basis. It is an ideal secondment opportunity for someone looking to be part of the Children’s Services transformation journey to deliver better outcomes for children and families in Central Bedfordshire.

This is the opportunity for an enthusiastic Support Officer to join the Transformation Project team on the delivery of the Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Partnership Programme  over a 12 month period.

The key duties of this role include:

  • To provide efficient, accurate and customer focused support across the SEND programme.  
  • To co-ordinate and deliver business support
  • To assist the Project Manager in the maintenance of programme and project documentation
  • To support effective communication mechanisms between the project teams and key stakeholders.
  • To undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by the Programme Lead.

The role is suitable for someone who has experience of and enjoys working with different teams and professionals, within Children’s Services across the Council and our partners.
