About the role

We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant, to join our enthusiastic and supportive lunchtime team.  The successful candidate will be someone who loves working with children and is hard working, reliable and positive with strong communication skills.

The main purpose of the role is to supervise and take care of the children during the lunchtime period in all areas inside and outside of the school. A key task is encouraging play activities and managing the behaviour of the children in line with the School Behaviour Policy. When supervising the dining hall it is to ensure the environment is clean, tidy and safe.

Salary – Single Status Grade 1 - £9.00 per hour

Hours of Work -  Permanent contract of 5 hours a week (12 – 1pm) – term time only. Due to the school operating under COVID 19 guidelines during Terms 1 and 2 the hours will be temporarily increased to 10 hours a week (11.30 – 1.30pm).
