Job Title: Head of Community Commissioning
Location: Farnham House - Stevenage
Salary Range: £74,497 progressing to £82,164 pa
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until - August/September 2021
Due to our current head of commissioning taking up a secondment opportunity we have a rare opportunity to join and lead our Community adult disability commissioning services. This is a vital and exciting role within our younger adult services, leading key programmes of transformation and modernisation to ensure that we offer the very best services across Hertfordshire. Utilising our connected lives model you will lead a large team of commissioners, finance and project specialists and a service finding function to be able to offer enabling and personalised care and support. Day opportunities, accommodation, employment and transforming care are all areas where you can help us shape and develop our future offers for the people of Hertfordshire
Working alongside our operational heads of service you will lead specific projects to support various initiatives as well as our approach ensuring required savings programmes are achieved. You will also work closely with our other heads of commissioning, ensuring a collaborative approach across all sectors and the development of market position statements. You will report directly to the operations director and when necessary deputise for them at board and or other key meetings.
