Your role in our journey
You will support the organisation to deliver work in a way that is inclusive and equitable for people from all backgrounds. You will work as part of a small team who have responsibility for ensuring compliance with our equality duty obligations. The post holder will help directorates ensure their service delivery positively contributes to the advancement of equality. There is also the opportunity to support delivery of external diversity festivals.
What you’ll need
To join us, you’ll need a relevant Level 6 qualification or extensive equivalent experience, along with evidence of continuous professional development. You will need to have significant experience conducting equality impact assessments and offering constructive feedback. With a track record of building effective and inclusive relationships, and working pro-actively in partnership with a range of customers. It is your high professional standards, ability to be solution focussed and excellent communication skills that sets you apart.
