An exciting opportunity as arisen for 2 Advanced Practitioners to join the Children’s Principal Social Work team in Medway. If you are passionate about developing Social Work practice and improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families in Medway, then we want to hear from you. You will model best practice, sharing expert knowledge with social workers, supporting their development, ensuring that the best possible outcomes are achieved.
Reporting to the Principal Social Worker, you will provide high quality coaching, mentoring, and guidance, as well as delivering practice focused sessions in order to support social workers with their continued professional development.
As a registered social worker with Social Work England you will place a high level of importance on social work values and practice. You will have significant social work experience and an in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, practice theory and research. An ability to build strong working relationships is essential and knowledge of Signs of Safety is desirable.
The Principal Social Work team sits within the Medway Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service. The role of an Advanced Practitioner is key in embedding the Quality Assurance and Practice Framework.
