Our Housing Services Team forms part of our Community Services Department. This busy team encompasses the functions of Housing Options and Housing Strategy and has responsibility for both the allocation and development of affordable housing. The role of Housing Strategy Officer focuses on the strategic policies underpinning the work of the department.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join us. This is an important role as it will help to inform future decisions around housing provision in the Blaby District. Up to date knowledge of current Government Policy in regards to affordable housing is essential and any previous experience of working within the housing sector is beneficial.
You will be carrying out research, compiling and analysing data and assisting with all aspects of the Housing Strategy Team’s functions.
You will also be working as a member of the wider team, including dealing with general telephone enquiries through to assisting with the preparation of reports to Cabinet or Council.
