Halton Borough Council has a vacancy for an Operational Compliance Officer to work within the Councils Open Space Team maintaining and developing safety systems within the frontline service and ensuring that they are adhered to. The post holder will also be responsible for the maintenance, development and effective operation of Performance Management Systems to ensure that work is appropriately monitored and evaluated against set criteria and standards.
We are looking for an individual who holds qualifications to at least HND or above in Landscape Management or a related discipline and IOSH Managing Safely Certificate. Knowledge of Hand Arm Vibration screening and management, pesticide legislation, performance management processes, horticultural best practices and running small works contracts would be a distinct advantage. Candidates would have to demonstrate experience of working within a busy front line service.
