We are looking for a friendly, professional and customer focused individual who can work as part of a team. The role involves working with other professionals across the council to develop and maintain the new Early Years Training and Development Portal. The candidate will be responding to stakeholders and other parties to ensure the smooth administration of the training booking system. They will also be responsible for liaising with and booking venues and supporting the Early Years Teams with administration of training and networks. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the administration of the national Bookstart programme in Surrey and will liaise with other service such as Surrey libraries and national Bookstart Co-ordinators.
The Early Years Training and Development Portal is a new system that will run alongside the already developed Services for School system. The successful candidate will work alongside the Service for Schools Officer and key members of the Surrey Academy to ensure that systems are aligned and fully functional. Training in our systems will be provided but an aptitude for IT is essential.
The Position sits with in the Early Years Educational Effectiveness Team who have the responsibility to provide training, support and advice across the early years sector in Surrey.
Although the position is based at Fairmount House, Leatherhead the successful candidate will be expected to travel to other offices across the county. There will be some home working, but this will be in discussion with the team manager.
