We’re looking for a creative and confident communicator to join us and help develop our engagement with online audiences.
Delivering professional, engaging and effective communications activity on social media and other online platforms you will help keep residents informed about the work of West Berkshire Council and the services it provides. As well as a good sense of what makes great content, strong customer service skills are also required as engaging with local residents on these platforms is an important part of the role.
This is a great opportunity to work with teams across the Council, promoting our services and interacting with residents. There’s never a dull moment – from photography and video creation, to generating e-newsletters and responding to customer enquiries the different skills required each day keeps the role interesting.

This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
