About the role

Wivelsfield School is looking for an Individual Needs Assistant.  You would be supporting a child in KS2 who needs lots of help to join in learning and other school activities.  Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour is ideal.  It is essential that you are trained in restrictive physical intervention.  A job share would be considered.

We are a single form entry school that  benefits from spacious modern premises. We have  extensive  grounds and are situated in the heart of the village, near both Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill.  We are a very popular, oversubscribed school and pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming with a strong ‘community ethos'.

This position is fixed term until the end of July 2021.

Hours are 8.30 am until 3.15 pm.

Actual salary is £12,576.
