End user Computing Engineer- Level 2

Salary : Scale 6 £27, 228 - £29,241
We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic and hard working Level 2 engineer to play an important role within our End User Computing team.
This team works directly with the Council staff and Councillors to support their laptops, tablets, desktops, and peripherals. You will need to have experience of delivering service support for an End User Computing or IT Support team and in delivering customer service. This will include experience in troubleshooting, supporting and administering Windows O/S, Active Directory, SCCM, Intune and using call logging systems.
You will play a key role as part of a team and/or independently in resolving day to day operational end user reported incidents and fulfilling service requests. This will involve taking ownership, troubleshooting and resolving a high turnover of end user issues and escalations. This ranges from new starter and application deployment, to build management and remote/deskside support to the user base.
You will prepare, build and deploy devices and support users across all Enfield Council sites & libraries, whilst also supporting the delivery of office moves in partnership with Build the Change.
This role will provide an exciting opportunity to support the VIP and Councillor user base, and to also support the Elections. Additionally, this will involve early engagement of new services, applications and devices from transformation and project as they follow a hand over into support to become an operational support service deliverable.
