This post holder will be expected to provide general administrative support within the school administration office, this will include word processing, emails and other ICT based tasks, including the production of school letters, reports and schedules
You will also be expected to undertake reception duties, you will be the first point of contact for school, answer telephones, answer queries face to face, sign all visitors in and out of the school building.
Other duties will include sending letters and information out to parents using a bespoke software called Parent Mail. Maintain the school website, monitoring content and communicate with the host provider to ensure all information is accurate and up to date. Coordinate schools displays and notice boards, produce flyers, posters and other materials to raise school profile in the local and wider community.
You will also be required to be aware of school policies and procedures and comply with them relating to child protection. Work as part of team, attend and participate in meetings and contribute to the school ethos development and improvement plan.
Whilst undertaking this role you would also be working towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, therefore would be expected to complete all aspects of this apprenticeship, time off the job will be given to complete your qualification.
