Enfield currently has vacant Social Work positions available in a number of settings across Older People and Physical Disabilities services.
The Locality teams - responsible for service users living in the East and West of the borough. The teams are based on sites in Enfield and Edmonton areas
The social work role includes carrying out timely assessments for social care support in the community or in the hospital setting, reviewing care packages to ensure that needs are being met, short-term & long term case management and working closely with Health & MDT colleagues.
Adult Social Care has a drive towards embedding a strength-based practice and collaboratively working with local organisations to achieve a resilient community. Applicants with a strong multi-disciplinary working background are particularly welcome.
The team consists of Social workers, Occupational Therapists and Social Care Assessors.We work in a supportive and friendly environment and are committed to professional development through regular supervision and flexible working. Enfield is part of the North London Social Work Teaching Partnership which aims to promote and improve the social work profession by developing career pathways and professional development opportunities for practitioners at all levels.
You will need to have sound knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, personal budgets; completing needs led assessments, Continuing Health Care and safeguarding process and procedures and registered with Social Work England.
